Q: I tried to book my room online/over the phone and the room block is full. What should I do?
A: The host hotel room block is sold out. Please book your room at the alternate hotel.
Q: Will an alternate hotel be available should the room block fill up before the event?

Q: The alternate hotel does not have any rooms left at the negotiated rate. What should I do?
A: You have two options: (1) You can book a room at the host hotel for the going rate (currently $249/night) or (2) you can book a room at the alternate hotel at the going rate (currently $189/night).
Q: The hotel website indicates a $12.00 per day parking fee is required. Is this correct?
A: No. There is no daily parking fee for registered attendees of the Grand National. Should you choose to attend the car show but not register for the event, the parking fee will apply. There is also no fee for trailers or campers.
Q: I do not want to send a check in the mail to register for the event. Is there another way?
A: CLC does not provide for electronic event registration. However, you can use online bill pay with your bank and initiate a payment. If you choose to do this, please scan and e-mail your registration form to
info@2013gn.com.
Q: We are not planning on having a car available during the event. How will we get around?
A: All of the tours scheduled for Wednesday through Saturday include bus transportation to the venues. The Friday evening special dinner has a cruise option, but members will also have access to a bus. The hotel has three restaurants, so you can eat onsite if you choose. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to the nearby "T" station (Boston subway), so you can easily ride into the city for some exceptional Italian food (north end), Asian (Chinatown), or seafood. Maps and information on how to use the subway are available from the link list to the right of this page.

Q: What is the cost of the awards banquet for children?
A: The hotel does not provide a dinner service specific for children, so all seats, regardless of age, are charged at the same rate. For an alternate option, children 8 or over may wish to attend the special movie and pizza party in the hospitality suite during the awards banquet. There will be sufficient adult supervision and we will collect your cell phone number for emergency contact.
Q: How do I register children?
A: Please make sure you select both general registration for the children (this qualifies them to participate in kid's judging. For specific events designed for children, there may be an additional cost. Be sure to also register for those specific events.
Q: Will the seminars be video-recorded? Can I participate in both the seminars and the daily tours?
A: Please be aware of the times and the duration of the daily tours. Most do not return to the hotel before the seminars, so if you plan to attend a tour, you will not be able to attend a seminar. The seminars will not be video recorded.
Q: How do a register a car for the car corral?
A: There is no car corral at the 2013 Grand National due to the expected high car turnout and space limitations. If you wish to display a car for sale, please purchase one outdoor vendor space per vehicle you wish to display for sale. ABSOLUTELY NO FOR SALE SIGNS ON THE SHOW FIELD!
